The KOVE 1–2 Person Barrel Sauna is supplied with a 4.5kW KOVE professional-grade electric sauna heater as standard, delivering reliable, dry heat for traditional sauna sessions.

Electrical requirements: fixed-wired connection required. No standard plug supplied. Heater installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with UK regulations (Part P / BS 7671).

Wood Treatment & Finishing

The exterior of the KOVE Barrel Sauna is supplied untreated, allowing you full control over the final appearance.

We recommend applying a suitable exterior wood oil on installation (exterior only). Many customers choose Danish oil, which enhances the grain while protecting the timber.

Please note that Danish oil will darken the wood and deepen its tone over time. Other oils, stains, or finishes can be used depending on your preferred look — and some customers even choose to paint their sauna.

Because finish preference is personal, the sauna is not pre-oiled.
